APPALACHIAN B&M CHAMPIONSHIPS

Plans are in the works for the 1st Annual Appalachian Beard & Moustache Championships, to be hosted by the Dixie Beard & Moustache Society here in the mountains of Western Carolina sometime in 2013 (hopefully)!

Inspired by the amazing work of our brothers down in those other Carolinas, the HCBMS and their annual Southeastern B&M Championships as well as the Carolina B.A.M. Competition put on by the BMC of North Carolina, we at the DBMS want the Appalachian Beard & Moustache Championships to be the premiere regional competition for Southern Appalachia — drawing competitors and spectators alike from around the country and world.  We look forward to welcoming yuns to the mountains of Western Carolina, & to give ya a taste of Appalachian culture & history, our unique foods & libations, our foot stompin music, and what can only be described as an undeniable affinity for throwin a damn fine party!

The Appalachian Beard & Moustache Championships promises to be a weekend full of good times & Southern hospitality, with a heart for charity & community, and of course some good ol fashion facial follicle competition!
